i want to get a dark/ghost type pokemon to balance the team out. i want the pokemon to know the moves dark pulse, psychic, shadow ball. these are the only pokemon that can learn these hms. problem is, ghost pokemon have the worst HP. Are any of these real good. any suggestions

I think that the best pokemon for you would be spiritomb
Although ghost pokemon have bad hp, spiritomb have no weakness(the only pokemon with no weakness is sableye), spiritomb is resistant to poison and unaffected by 3 elements.
Basically, spiritomb has arguably the best type effectiveness in the game.
Considering, the rest of your team consist of heavy damage dealers, it would be good to have a pokemon which can deal with a pokemon that is effective against your other pokemons
Stats-wise, spiritomb is not that far behing mismagius and gengar
