Josh Asked: why are exorcisms only performed in the christian religion?

doesn't Buddhism, Islam, Jewish, etc.have demons that require exorcisms, why is it just the Christian religion? or like when a Medium performs a psychic reading thing, does it matter what religion or is it just Christianity, if so, why?
