Venus is a Fly Trap Asked: Religion and astrology? Why is it wrong to study if your religious?

Religion views astrology as a form of occult, that belief comes from scriptures talking about it being a form of fortune telling and a form ofidolatry because it was thoughtthat there where gods in the celestial bodies and they made the impact on our lives. Since this is no longer the belief about astrology then it wouldn't be a form of idolatry why is there still an issue with astrology in religion?
There have been many intellectuals, including Sir Isaac Newton and Carl Jung, who believed in the validity of astrology. There are some scientific theories that indicate why it can work

A Cosmic Pattern
Carl Jung best explained the idea of the cosmic clock by stating that time is not a linear phenomenon. What happens at one moment will influence what happens at another moment in time. In other words, things happen because they are related and correspond to each other. Everything is connected. At a given time, the sun, moon and planets are all in a specified position in the sky. Their movements are given and precise. The astrologer has learned through the years to interpret what meanings these positions have on a variety of events. By knowing the precise time of ones birth, an astrologer can tell what tendencies and characteristics this person possesses from the positions of the planets at that given time.

Honestly if we can see the strength of the moons influence and the major impact it makes on the planet when its pull is so strong it picks up the weight of water in a tsunami, wouldn't it make sense that it would also be felt and make a huge impact on a tiny baby the moment it enters into the energy of earths gravitational pull? They were weightless floating in water before birth. The moment of birth would be a massive thrust into a completely new environment. It makes sense it would effect you, impact you in some way and all astrology does is watch the effects and they're similarities by comparison to the placement of the planets at the moment this impact happened…its simply a pattern of similarities theorized and calculated according to the theory… Why is this wrong to religion?

These are the scriptures that support the religions view that astrology is wrong, but without the belief that there are Gods behind astrology….what is wrong with astrology?
