My boyfriend and I have been together for almost 2 years and in those two years we've noticed some sort of connection between him and I. Whenever he was hurt i will feel a feeling similar to a panic attack, without even knowing what happened to him. At one point we hadn't spoken and he ended up being bitten by a pitbull while i was breaking down and hyperventilating, and i had no idea he was hurt at that time. More recently, we were on the phone and he hit his bad knee on a table (without telling me) and miles away I felt this sharp stinging pain in my left knee just below my kneecap, the same place he hit his. The connection seems to be only a one-way thing and occurs frequently.

sounds like confirmation bias; a handful of potential and likely exaggerated from belief bias, since you clearly do believe it is psychic. False positives will be amplified by memory, while negatives are discarded.
Simply put: How many times have these things happened and you did NOT get this reaction? Its probably a whole lot more if you stop to think about it. The times when you did have the reaction, would either be exaggerated (the dog attack) or empathy and knowing how your boyfriend sounds when he's injured (knee on a table.) Being around someone that much, it becomes easy to notice aspects that would go unnoticed by others.
Which I think is a whole lot more charming than psychic powers. If you have to choose between rational and supernatural, your best bet is to go with the former, if only because you can never truly quantify anything supernatural, whether it exists or not.
